As per the current restrictions in place across the province, Pictou County Gymnastics will remain closed for all classes and activities until further notice.
Update for Term 4 Members:
With an extension to the current lockdown in place, we are very sad to announce that we will not be able to continue our Term 4 classes when we reopen.
All members that have paid registration for term 4 classes will be given a credit for the 8 weeks missed. This credit will be available to use towards any summer programs and/or September program registration fees.
As a non-for-profit organization, the continued support and cooporation shown from our membership during these challenging times has kept us going. We can not say thank you enough.
Stay safe and we will see you soon!
Please note that the GNS insurance fee is not uncluded in the amount credited. This credit will expire after the September term registration.

"Set your goals, follow your dreams, listen to your heart and don’t let anything stand in your way.” – Brandy Johnson, Brandy Johnson’s Global Gymnastics Academy motto
“It’s not about winning or losing a competition, it’s about beating the doubt from within yourself and knowing at the end of each day you are one step closer to your goals.” – Jonathan Horton
We have a large collection of handmade gymnastics clothing on site. Leotards, shorts, singlets and more. Each design is unique.
We may have the space your business or club is looking for!
“Even if kids don’t love gymnastics, if they start at any age with some classes, they can learn so many different things — they can build a lot of character, strength, flexibility, and courage. Hopefully, they can also develop a sense of fearlessness.” – Nastia Liukin
First of all let me tell you how much we miss you all and are looking forward to getting you back in our gym soon Wendy has been working with some of our other senior staff members, PSO’s, accounting as well as Board members to try and figure out what our plan can be moving forward.
As a not for profit and the lowest club fees in the province, it can sometimes be challenging to keep this fabulous facility running. Unfortunately, we had just taken registration for our third term when the world shut down. We are still expected to pay fuel bills, internet and phone as well as NS power while we are closed. Wendy laid off all of our Senior staff right away to prevent unnecessary costs as much as possible.
We are asking our members and families to understand the position we are being put in and how difficult it is to navigate through these uncharted waters. We cannot refund money for the third term as we would have to immediately and permanently close our doors. We are asking that you accept a credit at our club for any upcoming camps, Fall classes, bday parties etc. that you wish to attend and work with us at this time to keep our doors open. There will not be an expiration date on this credit.
We understand that times are tough for everyone now and we appreciate our communities dedication to us over the past 10 years. We want to be able to offer this program and this recreational space to the children of our County in the future. Gymnastics is labeled as a non contact sport and they are talking about us being able to open sooner than some with restrictions so we are waiting on the restrictions and regulations for that as well as waiting to see what NB and PEI will be doing with their gyms as they will be starting the steps sooner than us.
We are all working together to help each other through this and know that we would not be here now if not for our members.
